Elohim Urban Mission elevates best practices and community-led solutions that improve the safety, health and wellness of the Transgender community.
The Fund will support Elohim Urban Mission’s strategic program development, capacity building and direct service initiatives bolstered by strong community engagement efforts to build and sustain progress in reducing the impact of HIV within Transgender communities.
This is an all-hands-on-deck moment, one that calls for us to support our local governments and community agencies, and unleash our collective ingenuity – city-by-city, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and block-by-block.
EUM, we’ve developed new platforms to help city builders stay connected to critical information during the COVID-19 crisis.
Elohim Urban Mission is a crowd sourced, real-time, platform that houses resources, tools and stories on how city builders and residents are responding to COVID-19.
Elohim Urban Mission leaders are used to advising social issues and health issues. Building partnerships between FBOs and local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) can serve as an ongoing opportunity to support health prevention and to provide social services to urban communities.
Collaboration between FBOs and CBOs can leverage the unique strengths of these organizations. Elohim Urban Mission well positioned to collectively and compassionately serve the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of urban communities.
Shammah Project helps Returning Citizens (Re-Entry Participant), fulfill personal goals, utilize Vocational and Personal Development effectively to be a constructive person. The project serves the State of Illinois. Returning Citizens (Re-Entry Participant), will have more human resource during the rainy season, when fewer people advocating, and because Elohim Urban Mission provides consistent, diverse and focused support to the educational aspect of the social enterprise.
